Our Quality Promise

Every print in the Chesapeake Focus collection is made to order on premium media, inspected before it ships, and produced with materials selected for quality and longevity. Paper prints use archival-grade fine art paper. Canvas prints are produced on a proprietary polycotton canvas blend and printed with UL GREENGUARD GOLD certified latex inks. Nothing is warehoused; every piece is printed fresh for your order.

Fine Art Paper Prints

Paper prints are produced on 285 gsm archival fine art paper — a bright white cotton and alpha cellulose blend equivalent to traditional watercolor and etching paper. The velvet matte finish brings out the full tonal range that makes Chesapeake light look like Chesapeake light. Every unframed print is individually sealed in an archival bag and arrives ready to frame.

Sizes run from 8×10" up to 24×36" and larger on select prints.

Framed Canvas Prints

Canvas prints are produced on a proprietary polycotton canvas blend — not available in standard print-on-demand catalogs. The latex inks carry UL GREENGUARD GOLD certification, the air-quality standard used for hospitals and schools. Proprietary UV inhibitors protect against fading and cracking; stored in a climate-controlled environment and out of direct sunlight, canvas prints have been tested to last up to 84 years. Each piece is stretched on FSC-certified, kiln-dried wood stretcher bars that won’t bow or warp, and arrives ready to hang with hardware included.

White or black frame, your choice. Sizes run from 16×20" up to 40×60" on panoramic prints.

The canvas and frame are a finished piece, ready to hang. Paper print frames (when ordered framed) are 100% radiata pine with an enamel finish. Canvas floater frames are FSC-certified engineered wood with a professional matte finish. Every print is inspected before it ships.

Made to Order, Shipped Direct

Chesapeake Focus uses a professional print-on-demand partner for fulfillment. That means every order is printed fresh — no inventory sitting in a warehouse, no old stock. The prints you receive are made when you order them, using current calibrated equipment.

Orders ship directly to you, typically within 3–5 business days of printing. Larger canvases may require additional production time.

The Collection

Nearly every piece in the Chesapeake Focus collection is available in both formats — fine art paper and ready-to-hang framed canvas — in white or black. Sizes range from intimate 12×18" paper prints to statement-making 40×60" canvases.

The collections are organized around what defines the Bay: Birds of the Bay for the herons, ospreys, eagles, and waterfowl; Landscapes & Light for the sunsets, marshes, and open water; Maritime Heritage for the working waterfronts and channel markers; and Landmarks & Heritage for the lighthouses and historic sites of the region.

Limited Edition prints are available in signed, numbered runs — for collectors who want a piece that won't be reprinted.
