Chesapeake Focus Prints Now on Display at Taphouse 1637 in California, Maryland

Chesapeake Focus prints are now on display at Taphouse 1637 in California, Maryland.

Taphouse 1637 is located at 23418 Three Notch Road in California, Maryland — a bar and restaurant with over 30 taps, a full cocktail menu, and a reputation as a genuine community venue in St. Mary’s County. Owner Sunny Malhotra has been building it as a local gathering place for over a decade and is one of the kindest, most welcoming humans on the planet.

The display is a chance to see the work at full scale in a setting that’s open to anyone. Canvas prints at 16×24" or larger have a presence that’s hard to judge from a screen, and the Chesapeake’s wildlife is the kind of subject matter that belongs on a Southern Maryland wall.

About Taphouse 1637

Taphouse 1637 opened at its current Three Notch Road location in 2016 and has grown into one of the more established venues in the area — rotating craft beer selection, cocktails, food, and live music. It’s the kind of place that draws a regular local crowd, which is exactly the kind of audience Chesapeake Focus is built for.
